Make this Christmas unforgettable with a festive film night inside the candlelit beauty of St Swithun’s Church in East Grinstead.

Step into the glow of candlelight and cathedral arches as St Swithun’s Church transforms into a breathtaking festive cinema again this December. After last year’s packed-out nights, our magical Christmas film nights return for two unforgettable afternoons and evenings, on Friday 19th & Saturday 20th December. Featuring six heartwarming, laugh-out-loud, and love-story festive classics.

Enjoy some of the biggest and most beloved Christmas films beneath soaring 18th-century architecture, surrounded by warm, magical lighting, flickering candles, and underground heating to keep you all warm. Sip mulled wine or a festive cocktail from the full bar, dive into an indulgent hot chocolate, or choose from craft beers, wine, prosecco and more. And when hunger strikes, the best smash burgers in Sussex await, with a festive special that’s worth the trip alone.

Seating is limited and extra cosy, with a limited number of luxury high-back padded chairs and plush cushions on every pew. This is cinema with soul, wrapped in fairy lights and full of festive magic. Early-bird tickets are live but won’t last long.

It’s becoming a festive tradition for many, a Christmas classic film in a truly magically lit and outstanding setting.

Tickets are extremely limited for all screenings, regardless of seat selection, and EARLY BIRD tickets end on November 28th at Midnight, or when they sell out, whichever comes first.

We’ve teamed back up with the fantastic Botanical Bubbles bar to bring you a drinks offering worthy of the festive experience, with drinks including mulled wine, Christmas special cocktails, hot toddies, craft beers, prosecco, wine, barista coffees, soft drinks and indulgent hot chocolates.

When it comes to food, we’ve got probably the best smash burgers for miles around from the team at the award-winning The Burger Truck, with even a festive option available. We also have a great selection of traditional festive sweet treats, including Christmas cake, stollen bites & mince pies, plus all your favourite cinema sweets and treats, from popcorn and crisps to chocolate and sweet share bags.
