Our Terms & Conditions

Here you’ll find all our standard conditions of ticket purchase for our Outdoor Cinema nights. The purchasing of a ticket is deemed to legally constitute acceptance of them.

These Terms & Conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Our open-air cinema events will always go ahead in bad weather, whenever possible. You should keep an eye on the weather before the event and come prepared for the weather expected (please note we do not allow the use of umbrellas at our outdoor cinema nights).

We will only cancel events if the weather becomes a danger to our staff and the audience. The purchase of tickets is the acceptance that the weather conditions may be something you consider unsatisfactory on a screening night but that the event goes ahead and acknowledges that tickets will not be refunded or exchanged unless Cinestock cancels the event. In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, we will aim to give as much notice as possible. We will update our Facebook page, send out emails to all attendees, and sometimes send a text to attendees when possible.

  • Cinestock reserve the right of admission to our events and the event venue. The venue or Cinestock might take into account health and safety, security and environment at ours and their reasonable discretion and may at times carry out security checks on arrival to our open-air cinema events.

We will not tolerate any abuse of our staff members, physical or verbal, in any form.

Please note that customers may be refused entry or ejected from one of our outdoor cinema experiences due to being abusive (or appearing to be) underage as specified by the event organiser, declining to be searched, threatening, drunken, or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no-smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video, or photographic recordings.

  • Cinestock requires adults accompanying children to exercise reasonable control over them to ensure their behaviour is deemed socially acceptable by other customers and staff and appropriate to the situation/surroundings, including for the child's and other attendees' safety. Where this is not the case, our staff reserve the right to intervene.

Both the purchaser and holder of tickets are required to observe the conditions laid down by The British Board Of Film Classification Certificate for the film being exhibited. Young people and/or any adult accompanying them may be required to provide proof of their age, and in all cases, it is at the sole discretion of staff to judge the young person's age.

For films with film classification of 15 or above, the person attending by law must be of a minimum of the film classification age. Meaning for a 15 age classification film, the person attending must be 15 or over. For a film with an age classification of 18, the person attending must be 18 or over.

For films with age classifications of U / PG / 12 or PG13 it is at the discretion of the adult attending with the child to decide if they are happy for the child they are bringing to watch the film.

  • Please make sure to take notice of the film's age restriction at the time of booking; these are clearly indicated throughout the booking process. Please ensure that you read all the information that applies to the event/ticket you are booking and carry proof of age if appropriate.

  • Please take note that none of our outdoor cinema experiences allow you to bring your own food and drink with you. If you have brought your own food and drink with you, you will be asked to return it to your car, or will be taken from you hand kept till the end oi the event when it can be collected.

If you refuse to do this you will not be able to enter the event or if found to have snuck in food and drink you will be asked to leave the event or removed, and no refund will be given in these circumstances.

  • Occasionally, we have to cancel our outdoor cinema events for various reasons. As soon as the event is cancelled, we will let people know by putting this on our Facebook page right away, emailing all ticket holders, and when possible, send out SMS messages. However, please note that the customer’s responsible for checking whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time, and venue.

If an event is cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund, including any booking fees. This refund is for the face value of the tickets only and the booking fees, not more than the amount paid by the customer. This is for all purchases, not just cinema tickets.

Cinestock cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the customer for travel, accommodation or any other related service or product pertaining to attending the event.

Where refunds are offered in the case of a rescheduled screening, a 14-day refund notification policy applies from the point of notification of the options relating to said screening. This means that after 14 days, if we have not received notification of the request to obtain a refund, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the new date, and a refund will no longer be possible.

  • Once you have purchased your tickets to our outdoor cinema events, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged or returned unless the event is cancelled, moved to another date, or if details of the event are significantly changed after an order is placed (significant changes being a change of film or venue only)

Once tickets have been purchased, customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt.
