About Weir Wood Reservoir & Water Sports Club

Nestled in the breathtaking High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in East Sussex, Weir Wood Reservoir is one of the county’s most spectacular hidden gems, and we are absolutely thrilled to be returning here as part of our summer season of Open-Air Cinema. Surrounded by rolling countryside, ancient woodland, and shimmering open water stretching across almost 400 acres, this stunning lakeside setting provides the perfect backdrop for magical evenings beneath the stars, watching blockbuster films on the silver screen.

As the sun begins to set across the reservoir and the sky glows with golden evening light, there are few more beautiful places to enjoy the magic of cinema outdoors.

Home to more than 250 species of birds along with dragonflies, butterflies, woodland trails and peaceful waterside views, the reservoir offers a truly unique atmosphere that feels worlds away from everyday life.
